Bull City Rumble

We've been to this event before, but didn't see this many
motorcycles and people. It's put on by Ton Up NC.

When Jack was a chopper jockey this Panhead would have
sported a drum front brake. It is a very clean bike compared to
the Baggers that are so popular these days.

When you could buy these Laverda Jotas new, Jack thought
the engines looked too square and industrial. Now whenever
he sees one he says, "What was I thinking?" A long bike with
low bars, he would not get along with it now.

Two stroke Yamaha flat track racer.

An AJS flat track racer.

A Honda road race bike. Bikes like this were popular at
Willow Springs in California in the eighties.

I think this BMW R100RS came down from Connecticut.

Here is a cleaner version. This is probably the nicest
motorcycle BMW ever built.

It's hard to know which bikes will become very desirable
classics. Most of the Vincents did. Of course, in thirty
years, people will drool over Street Triple 675s.

A Ural with custom paint and some serious engraving.

Moto Guzzi Ambassador 750. This was a big touring bike
in its day. They are supposed to have very reliable engines.

This BSA is an oldie. I think it's even older than Jack.

Here is a naked bike derivative that I think people call
a Street Fighter.

The sword shifter on this Shovelhead would likely take the
spunk right out of a Street Fighter.
